Myrecipevault

Our story

It started with a shoebox

Family Recipe Vault began with one box of index cards nobody wanted to lose.

A shoebox full of memories

When our founder’s grandmother passed, the only thing anyone fought over was a shoebox of handwritten recipe cards — stained, faded, and irreplaceable.

We scanned every card that weekend, terrified one more year of humidity would take the ink with it. That’s when we realized: every family has a version of this box.

Family Recipe Vault exists so no one has to race against time to save their family’s food history.

What we believe

Three things we hold to

Memory, not data

We treat every recipe as a memory worth protecting, not a data point to mine or sell.

Private by default

Your family’s cookbook is private unless you choose to share it publicly.

Made to be passed down

Every plan is built around one goal: a cookbook your grandchildren can still open.

Don't wait

Preserve yours before the next holiday

Family gatherings are the easiest time to collect recipes. Start now.
